Description

The coronation ceremony for a kirin takes careful preparation, due to the special flower required for the march. A hybrid blossom of "Protea" and "Lotus" flowers is grown in special gardens located in the hottest regions of Terratoff. The rare bloom is said to represent both transformation and rebirth, and the combination of fire and water elements. The dragons bring these flowers to the ceremony, and are welcome to remain to participate in the march. The kirin shepherd, adorned with the protea lotus across it's shoulders, proudly leads the march of unicorn and dragon kin together in celebration of their combined allegiance. From that day forth the herd will have special favor with the dragons that marched, and may call upon them whenever in need.
