About Kelley Hensing

Kelley's artwork is inspired by the mysterious. She grew up in a house by the woods, spending much of her time going on adventures into the wilderness. Her images portray dreams, fears and fables, while seeking to transcend a world of chaos. Her visual language combines nature, spirituality and archetypal figures to form her own narratives both beautiful and symoblic.

Kelley earned a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2001, and her MFA in 2010 from the School of Visual Arts in NYC. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
