Summoned from another dimension by a mage who sought to possess his body and use his power, Varsha'ak's entrance through the portal cracked the summoning stones, instantly killing the mage. Through this process, the soul of the mage was trapped within Varsha'ak's body. Although the two struggle for absolute dominion over the body, the weakened soul of the mage is slowly being absorbed into that of Varsha'ak, melding with his own and giving him yet unknown powers.
