About Ornelie Art
Ornélie is a French artist, sculptor, drawing animator, born in 1983.
After graduating from Gobelins animation school, she works as 2D animator on feature films, and she is a self-taught sculptor. All her sculptures are uniques and hand-made.
Throught her feminine characters, she develops her personal universe, often surreal and romantic, sometimes dark and strange.
By playing with the codes of the curiosity cabinet, her sculptures are paths towards her dreams of fantasized part eras, as much as her gothic and victorian visions.

| Projects: | Recently, Ornélie have won the PoetArtist prize of the Art Renewal Center competition, she was finalist of the Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize, and her work has been selected for the LunarCodexProject. She was also asked by the director of the Beautiful Bizarre magazine to exhibit at the ModernEdenGallery in San Francisco, and by the NaiaMuseum in France : so many perspectives which seem very encouraging and stimulating to her. |
