KRING Demetrio is a self-taught illustrator based in Cebu City, Philippines. She draws inspiration from folkloric stories and popular myths. Deeply embedded in her drawings, are etchings made from empty ballpoint pens and wooden skewers; usually depicting lines and other decorative images. Her work can be found in magazines, tabletop games, children’s books, album covers, and gallery shows. She lives with her partner and their cats.
