About Susan Shorter
I am a staff illustrator for Author Solutions and have illustrated over 500 children's books, as well as writing and illustrating two of my own. I received my BFA from the Herron School of Art in 2004 with a concentration on Illustration and Painting. I show my work in local galleries as well as work the convention circuit in the Midwest area. One of the most interesting things I have done was that I got to be the sketch artist for episode 609 "A Return to Evil" of The Dead Files on the Travel Channel.
