Papier mache figure on paper board with metal pins,framed 3D sculptural wall art. My muse hurts,diagnosed with breast cancer,it feels like huge needles impaling her breast at every turn and she want to fend them off. The three needles in the left breast represent the pain of diagnosis, pain of disease and the pain of treatments. When I asked why does everything have to hurt? Isn't there any tests that don't hurt? They told me "medicine hurts". My continuing journey through cancer. Currently in Gallery Forty Two ,Indianapolis.
