Every competition will have winners based on medium, as well as a Grand Prize Award winner. Grand Prize award winners will be chosen by the Judging Panel. Competition winners will be notified via email and winning images will be featured in our online winners galleries and possibly other digital/print promotional materials. The prize winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on prizes.
There are no alternatives to the stated prizes. In the event that the selected winner(s) of any prize are/is ineligible or refuses the prize, the prize will be forfeited and IBA, at its sole discretion, may choose whether to award the prize to another entrant

This award will be voted on only by those artists who are participating in IBA4. Each artist who submits at least 6 works of art qualifies who has not won in the past 5 years. We will email every artist who has submitted work to IBA 5 and ask them to select artist's work should receive this award. We'll have more details after the close of IBA 5's submission period on how the selection process works, and when the voting period for this award will take place.
Certificates of Merit (Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medal) in each of the Following Medium Categories:
Oil/Acrylic/Paint: Gold, Silver, Bronze Certificate
Mixed Media: Gold, Silver, Bronze Certificate
Digital/Photoshop: Gold, Silver, Bronze Certificate
Pen/Ink/Pencil: Gold, Silver, Bronze Certificate
Fees are specified for single entries as well as multiple entries, from the Upload Your Entries page. All fees are in USD. Artists can submit up to 10 pieces of artwork to the competition. Each entry costs $10, with the 5th and 10th entries being free of charge.
Total fees due will be calculated automatically when you upload images via the Submission Page.
Payment must be made online via Paypal or by using a credit card. To make payment, upload your entries to the contest entry page, and click the green Click to Activate button to confirm the entries and make your payment.
Uploaded entries are 'unconfirmed' unless payment of the necessary fees is received before the competition's closing deadline. Unconfirmed entries are not qualified for judging. For your convenience, unconfirmed entries can be accessed over multiple login sessions via the 'Submit' and 'Unconfirmed Entries' pages of your 'Member Portfolio' until you delete the entry or the competition closes. You can review all your confirmed entries by navigating to the 'Confirmed Entries' page of your 'Member Portfolio'. Once a competition's results are finalised and the online winners galleries is published, your confirmed entries can be reviewed in the 'History' page of your 'Member Portfolio'. You can also view your previous payment details by navigating to the 'Payments' page of your 'Member Portfolio'. Find out more in the Closing Deadline section of our "How to Enter".
Entry fees are non-refundable, but entries can be completely modified (i.e., upload new digital file, update the title or caption, select a new category) until the competition closes.
Should IBA elect to cancel or terminate a competition prior to its closing deadline, IBA will refund all paid entry fees.
