Hermes Press Partners with Infected by Art to Print IBA 2

Infected By Art (IBA) and Hermes Press are proud to announce their partnership to print IBA’s Compilation Art Book Volume 2, an art project where professional and emerging artists from all over the world submit their fantastic art to IBA in a contest to determine which pieces are included in the final book.

This ground-breaking collectors edition will feature over 300 pieces of art from the worlds best Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror artist in a range of various mediums. Each page will feature the name of the artist, the title of the art, the medium in which it was created, and the artist’s website, and will be faithfully reproduced in the form it was submitted to IBA.

Hermes Press is a popular culture-based publishing company based in New Castle, PA that focuses on high quality historical reprints of classic comic strips and comic books, from The Phantom to Buck Rogers. They have previously published art books by acclaimed pinup artist Joe Chiodo, as well as the art books of Jaro Fabry (of the New Yorker comics) and Earl Oliver Hurst.  Most recently Hermes Press printed a biography of legendary science fiction/fantasy artist Frank Frazetta, written by his son, Frank Frazetta Jr. The book was a comprehensive look at Frazetta’s life, his art, and his stylistic sensibilities, showcasing never-before seen art, photos, and memorabilia. Hermes Press is well-known for their high quality reprints and art books, and the partnership with IBA is yet another chance for Hermes Press to show off their prowess in the field of fantastic art books.
