My strange fascination with medicine and illnesses (all of which scare me) has made me create several such artworks lately. This one was inspired of course by own backaches being an artists sounds so exciting and active and engaged, but it' s a desk job and you willingly hold still for hours really we' re modern Shaolin, doing exercises oly to keept sitting still for longer periods without dire consequences (yeah yeah, get up once per hour and so forth, but I dare anyone to tell me they stick to that every single day). My back is okay again but I still painted this piece, partly as an exercise with texture.
