How we treat those we do not have to treat well says much about us. Making others suffer seems dismissable when one can. Harming others seems sensible when one has been taken advantage of. Assuming power in absence of resistance seems logical. Being open is being vulnerable, promising pain. We must be more than mere creatures however.
