Description
Lewisa has worked with nearly every medium imaginable and has continually come back to her first love of sculpture. She attended Otis Parsons Art Institute and graduated from Antioch University, San Francisco. Her sculpture is inspired by the elegance and sensual nature of the human form in dance and athletic prowess, often with a focus of metamorphosis into animal form. She has participated in both group and solo shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Santa Fe as well as several cities in California, Arizona and North Carolina. Her work has been collected privately all over the world.
