Description

This is a really personal piece to me, almost to the point of being fine art. On the surface, it's a "virtual life ecosystem" which forms a kind of emergent intelligence. It's also an interface of sorts, a kind of visual programming. I will explain how it works more in the future! (Since this one started out as a style test, conveying meaning was NOT the primary goal, here.) I have synesthesia/ideasthesia and see shapes like this in my mind's eye on a consistent basis. So this is kind of expression of what I see when thinking, although more elaborate and less fleeting. (I feel like I've wanted to get this image out for half my life!) The sci fi scenario is a re-skin of how I think about thinking.
