Description
Mother Nature is a well known female icon. With the loss and destruction of the natural environment, I pictured her coming back with a vengeance, resurrecting the lost creatures from the earth to rise and defend the damaged land. I wanted her pose to feel like an alter piece that could be found in a holy place, as it might feel in a matriarchal religion.� This piece was on display at Last Rites Gallery in NYC, November 2014 as part of my gallery show "The Animal Within".
