Description
This painting was created as a book cover for the author Midori Snyder�s ebook re-release of her Oran Trilogy, and titled after its respective volume in the trilogy. To create this cover, I combined digital images with an oil-painted (and digitally-tweaked) background. The character pictured � the hand reaching out of an explosion of wins and feathers � is a shapeshifting mentor to the main character. He is reaching towards the place of refuge for the outlaws, hoping to get there in time to help.
