Description
The Greek Goddess, Persephone, has been a muse and symbol for powerful self-exploration this year in ways that were a little too coincidental all year - even finding out that one of her symbols was a bat! I too have always been a juxtaposition of opposites. I adore the beauty of life, especially nature, and yet my brightest joys are subjects that are traditionally seen as dark. Death and life are of the same coin. You cannot have one without the other and yet, they can both be happening and held at the same moment.
