Projects: I' m working on a 6 1/2 ft hinoki cypress Kannon-sama sculpture for a Buddhist temple in Akita, Japan, and a marble unicorn commission for a client in NYC.

Location: Lakebay, Washington

The original vrsion of this was done a long time ago as a color illustration for a Tokyo English-language magazine, to go out for Japan's version of Hallowe'en, in August. I recently repainted the image, as purely a painting, and added a second figure, the woman calling up the protective Snake Spirit.
