Description
"Devotion", 16x20, oils on cradled hardboard. I conjured an image of worship, the obelisk, and thought it would be cool to combine an idol of worship with the god or creature itself. I see this giant obelisk creature as an earth plane representation of its master, awe-inspiring and fearsome in its own right, worthy of trembling devotion, to channel supplicating energy to the lord god.
