This collaborative life size sculpture was created with my wife Kristine. "Fauna," said to be the wife, sister or daughter of the more widely known Faunus, is a Roman goddess of the fields and woodlands. With a humble nod to Shakespeare's notion of a goat being the image of unbridled lust, this unabashedly sensual and confidently direct version represents Fauna in her other aspect as Goddess of the wild sexuality of women - a powerful expression of fertility and the life force.
