Description
This piece evolved over time which often happens with my paintings these days when I listen to whatever is guiding me as I paint. It so happens my husband mentioned an article about trees communicating with each other. Apparently there are some fascinating studies about how they can communicate through their root systems. They even protect other trees and ward off pests. I like to think of my tree as free from the ground as if dreaming. You can almost see the roots moving. Acrylic on Panel. 30" X18" . Bronze wood frame.
