Description
Acrylic on board, framed and matted. The texture you see on this piece is deliberate, I used a pallette knife to glob on paint and texture. Since I have been studying my grandmother' s work, I have been facinated with her use of pallette knife to carve and build objects. This was something I never got to do when I did book cover work where a smoothness to the work is more desirable. Now, this option is open and some of the results or much more interesting.
