Infected by Art 6 Timeline and Jury Announcement

The start of Infected by Art Volume 6 is just around the corner and today we're ready to announce the submission period as well as this volume's jury panel.
IBA 6 Timeline:
Submission Period: September 4, 2017 through midnight EST December 8, 2017
Jury Voting: December 12, 2017 through January 10, 2018
We're looking for the very best in contemporary imaginative realism, with artworks being judged from four main categories - Traditional Painting, Digital Painting, Drawing and Sculpture. We offer cash prizes, as well as publication in our upcoming Compilation art book - Infected by Art Volume 6. The best images voted on by our esteemed jury will be selected for the book. While our jury deliberates on the artworks after the submission period ends, all submissions will be available for viewing by our site visitors to enjoy. The competition is open to all artists, and submissions should be created within the last 2 years. Entry fees will remain the same as previous years - $10 per entry with a maximum of 10 entries, and the 5th and 10th entry is free.
IBA 6 Jury Panel:
Our Jury Panel is comprised of four individuals personally entrenched in the creation or promotion of imaginative realism artworks; Vanessa Lemen, Colin & Kristine Poole, Danijela Krha Purssey, and Rob Rey.

Vanessa Lemen - Vanessa Lemen is a painter and educator based in Carlsbad, CA. Her work has shown in galleries and exhibitions nationwide, including the Main Show at IX Arts for the past several years. MORE |

Colin & Kristine Poole - Born into families with artistic lineages, Colin and Kristine Poole have been following their creative paths since childhood. Through their early years, they developed similar passions for representational art and rendering the human figure. MORE |

Danijela Krha Purssey - Danijela Krha Purssey is an entrepreneur and the Editor-in-Chief and Co-Founder of Australian based international new contemporary art magazine, Beautiful Bizarre Magazine. MORE |

Rob Rey - Originally from a suburb north of Chicago, Rob hiked across New England on the Appalachian Trail before going on to study at the Rhode Island School of Design, graduating with a BFA in Illustration. Rob now lives in Denver, CO. MORE |
They will select the images for publication in IBA 6, and pick the top artworks for Cash prizes.
IBA 5 has been safely delivered to the printer and we we're expecting to have proofs in our hands within the week. Our experience with new publisher Jon Schinehette of ArtOrder LLC was nothing short of fantastic, and we cannot wait to show off Infected by Art Volume 5 at IX 10 this October.
