"The Butterfly Knight she became, from a chrysalis of change and pain. Her wounds turned to doors, her weaknesses to a sword. Her flaws turned to gold, her fears- to wings." This is a portrait of a client's bad ass mother. Best private commission ever! We did the full photoshoot and everything and I built around themes of transformation, vunerability, strength, and change. I think everyone- but especially women in their mid-life metamorphosis can resonate with this.
